Janean Hamilton, RN, D.O.M, AP

Janean is nationally certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine (NCCAOM) and has been a registered nurse for more than 20 years.

In her role as a nurse in traditional western medicine, she specialized in several areas of medicine, including: pain management, hospice, dialysis, pediatrics, infusion therapy, employee health and stem cell transplants.

Janean became interested in holistic medicine while employed by a naturopathic physician in Seattle. After receiving amazing results from acupuncture treatments for stress and back pain, she immediately decided that traditional Chinese medicine was her true calling. Janean received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and her Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies from the Florida college of Integrative medicine. She graduated Summa Cum laude with specialized training in pain management, auricular medicine, bio-puncture and addiction. Janean is also an active faculty member at the college.

Janean furthered her studies in addiction in New York City at the Lincoln Recovery Center, becoming proficient with NADA protocol to treat all kinds of addiction and achieved status as a National Detox Specialist. She also has a strong interest in ADD/ADHD using auricular medicine where she has had significant success with children and adults.

Janean’s passion for holistic medicine has motivated her to continuously seek out specialized training in several areas of medicine. Her mission is to “help as many people as possible achieve their optimum level of health using Traditional Chinese Medicine, nutrition and education while cultivating their own personal empowerment to heal themselves."
